Website Cookies and Tracking
Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2025
Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Overscale ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and applications (the "Services"). Read this together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal data.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be read by the site that set them. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Cookies help the Services function, remember your preferences, and understand usage so we can improve features and performance.
Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: Required for core functionality such as security, network management, and enabling you to log in or submit forms. You cannot opt out of these via our tools, but you can block them in your browser. Blocking may break the Services.
- Functional: Improve your experience by remembering preferences and settings.
- Analytics: Help us understand usage patterns so we can improve performance and features. We do not set advertising cookies.
Cookies set by Overscale
We set a small number of first-party cookies to keep the platform secure and usable. Rather than tracking individuals for advertising, these cookies fall into the following purposes:
- Authentication and security: Maintains encrypted session tokens so admins and clients can stay signed in, verifies requests, and protects against cross-site request forgery. These cookies are short lived (typically less than 24 hours), httpOnly, and required for core access.
- Preview and sandbox experiences: Supports optional demo or preview environments so prospective clients can explore the interface without affecting production data. These cookies are functional, scoped to Overscale domains, and expire within a few days.
- Preference storage: Remembers interface options you pick (such as recently used tools or dismissing an announcement) to streamline future sessions. You can clear these at any time in your browser.
We may also store limited session information using browser local storage for sign-in flows and support tickets. Local storage stays on your device and is not sent with every request the way cookies are.
Third party cookies and services
Certain features may rely on third party services (for example, authentication providers, cloud storage, or analytics). These third parties may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We do not control third party cookies. As integrations change, we will update this page to reflect active cookies.
Your choices
Options to control or limit cookie use include:
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See the Help menu for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the Services.
- Private or incognito mode: Use a private window to limit cookie persistence between sessions.
- Clear cookies: Delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. Our Services do not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time. We will review and update this section if that changes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.
